Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern use of the HangIn app and hangin.app. A solicitor-reviewed agreement will replace this notice when it is ready. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Eligibility. Personal HangIn accounts are for people aged 17 or older. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, including date of birth. Business listings are for genuine venues and organisers.

Your account. Keep your login safe. You are responsible for activity on your account. Do not share your password. HangIn may suspend or ban accounts that break these terms or the Community Guidelines.

Your content. You keep rights in content you post. You grant HangIn a licence to host, display, and share that content in the service (including maps, profiles, and search) so HangIn can operate. Do not post content you do not have the right to use. Illegal content, sexual content involving minors, harassment, and scams are not allowed.

Meeting in real life. HangIn helps people discover events and friends. HangIn does not run your nights out and does not verify that every user or listing is safe. Meet in public when you can. Report harm in-app or by email.

Paid features. Plus, Creator, and Business Pro are subscriptions billed by Apple or Google. Prices are shown in the store purchase sheet. Restore Purchases is available in Subscribe. Boosts and event tickets may be charged by Stripe. HangIn does not give refunds for store subscriptions except as Apple or Google require. Cancel auto-renew in your device subscription settings.

Business Pro is a paid plan (tools and a plan badge). It is not Companies House, KYC, or government identity verification.

Ending your account. Delete in the app or at https://hangin.app/account-deletion. Subscriptions must be cancelled with Apple or Google separately.

Changes. We may update HangIn and these terms. Material updates may require you to accept again in the app.
